Using your API key

The key is created once, shown once, and stored hashed.

  1. 1API keys → create a key, give it a name you will recognise when you revoke it.
  2. 2Copy it immediately — only a prefix and the last four characters are kept on our side.
  3. 3Send it as a bearer token to the /v1 retrieval endpoint; the same credential works for the MCP tools.
  4. 4Watch the usage page for allowed versus rejected calls; quota rejections return 429 with the reason.
